Animation Illustrates Construction Accident that Led to a $23 Million Dollar Recovery by a Top New York Law Firm
$23 Million Dollar Cash Recovery - NY Construction Accident With Traumatic Internal and Spinal Injuries from Rebar Impalement. Congratulations to lead trial attorney Steven Hess, senior partner of Simonson Hess Leibowitz & Goodman. P.C, and his team for the $23 million dollar recovery on behalf of their client who was impaled by rebar at a construction job site which left him paralyzed from the waist down.
At the construction job site, a makeshift wooden bridge was constructed across two cinder block walls. As the plaintiff walked across the makeshift bridge, it cracked, causing the plaintiff to fall 12 ft onto the uncapped rebar below. The rebar impaled the plaintiff through the anus and lodged into the lumbar spinal canal. In addition to his spinal injuries, he also sustained internal trauma to the spinal cord, colon and rectum. The plaintiff underwent surgery to extract the rebar from his body and part of his colon was also removed due to trauma.
Mr. Hess and his team contacted Visuals for Law to create a reconstruction of how the accident occurred, as well as highlight the internal damage caused by the rebar.
$44,700,000.00 Jury Awarded Verdict – Severe Right Eye Injuries and Traumatic Brain Injuries Sustained from Faulty Chain Link
Congratulations to Mr. Gerald Lefebvre Esq. of the Law Office of Gerald Lefebvre in Okeechobee, Florida for the award he obtained on behalf of his client who was injured at a construction site by a faulty chain link.
The plaintiff sustained multiple fracture injuries to his right orbital bones, injuries to his right eyeball, facial lacerations as well as a traumatic brain injury with intracranial bleeding. The plaintiff endured three separate painful surgeries to treat his fractures and correct his vision; however, the significant damage to his eye has impaired his vision for life. Not only does the plaintiff suffer from vision impairment and consistent pain, but he also suffers from personality changes and impaired cognitive functions as a result of the accident.
Mr. Lefebvre entrusted Visuals for Law to create an accident reconstruction animation demonstrating the moment the faulty chain impacted the plaintiff and the resulting facial and brain injuries.
